Norah O'Donnell, CBS News, reported that Ellen DeGeneres is to end her daytime talk show:

Ellen DeGeneres ending show after 19 seasons

"Ellen DeGeneres has been a stalwart of daytime talk shows for nearly 20 years, but the host announced this week "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will be ending after its 19th season."

"When you're a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it's just not a challenge anymore," DeGeneres told The Hollywood Reporter."

"DeGeneres, 63, told her staff about the decision on Tuesday and will discuss it on the May 13 episode of the show, during which she will sit down with fellow talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, THR reports."
